ED Pain Management Improvement Program Overview and Educational Pathways

This site houses an accredited medical education activity and a number of resources for Emergency Medicine practitioners.  The educational activity and resources provide for better understanding of pain management in the emergency department.  Within the EMPainline website, learners are afforded the following two options for education: 

TWO PATHWAYS for Practitioner Medical Education:

1. EMPainline CME Educational Pathway: a basic continuing medical education program for one hour of CME;

2. EMPainline ABEM MOC APP Pathway: a four step practice improvement process to earn MOC including “measure, compare, improve, and re-measure.”

The two pathways available are outlined below:

In order to participate in the EMPainline CME or ABEM MOC APP programs you must first complete the EMPainline online registration form to gain access to the online course material. To get started  REGISTER HERE.
