The EMPainline CME Educational Pathway is a basic continuing medical education program for one hour of CME credit.
You will need to complete the following items in order to complete the CME and receive credit:
Pre-Activity Physician Survey:
u This required survey will capture your current opioid prescribing practice, as well as your attitudes and beliefs about opioid prescribing in the ED.
u The accredited educational activity, focused on ACEP's Opioid Prescribing Guidelines, includes expert led discussion on opioid prescribing guidelines, managing drug-seeking behaviors, storage and disposal of opioids, and an overview of Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs.
Post-Activity Physician Survey and CME Assessment:
u This required survey and post educational activity evaluation will capture your opioid prescribing practice and attitudes and beliefs about opioid prescribing in the ED, reflecting any changes that may have resulted from completion of the educational activity.
u You will receive 1 hour of AMA PRA Category 1 credit after completing the Educational Activity and the Post Activity Survey and CME Assessment.
